SSM (Special Study Module)
SSM is the combination of three separate components, each of which is independently organized and carried out.
For the Conference Poster, you must complete an audit or service evaluation and prepare a poster on the results.
The Elective Project is a 4-6 week placement anywhere in the world, in any discipline. You must also undertake a specific project, which may be anything from a reflective report to a data collection, and write a 3,000 word essay on this topic.
Finally, the Teaching aspect must be an interactive session lasting 30-60 minutes on a topic of your own choosing.
